Anthea spent the latter part of her secondary education in England who then obtained her law degree from King’s College London. Upon obtaining her PCLL in Hong Kong in 2004, she embarked on traineeship with RBJL. She stayed on as an assistant solicitor after completing her traineeship before joining another firm with a substantial IP practice. Having exposed herself to a very intensive practice in both contentious and non-contentious trade mark prosecution, Anthea has since rejoined RBJL bringing with her the invaluable experience that she has acquired. Her principal areas of practice are trade mark clearance, prosecution, opposition, cancellation and revocation proceedings in Hong Kong, China and overseas. She regularly attends hearings at the Hong Kong Trade Marks Registry as an advocate. Anthea has experience in managing and maintaining worldwide trade mark portfolio for international as well as local clients from various fields of businesses and industries. She regularly advises on trade mark filing and use strategies, and handles trade mark enforcement work. She also provides advice on passing off and infringement of copyrights issues.
