Masters in Management and MBA candidate at the SMU Cox School of Business; SMU football graduate transfer with two years of eligibility. Self-financing graduate education. Graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in December 2020 with a major in Physical Culture and Sport with a minor in business andEntrepreneurship. Self-financed undergraduate education with a full football scholarship and various part-time jobs and internships. I have competed and succeeded at the highest levels of football, academics and in various jobs since kindergarten. Graduated high school with honors and a full scholarship to play football at University of Texas. Persevered through three knee injuries and 4 major knee surgeries which ultimately forced me to medically retire from UT football. Undaunted, I embarked on an extensive, high tech rehab program while focusing on academics, which has enabled me to start a new football career at SMU as a graduate transfer while I pursue my MBA. My experience prior to and at UT taught me how to use passion, commitment and determination to survive and thrive through adversity, hardship and pain. I also learned valuable team, leadership, time management and organizational skills by successfully balancing the demands of school, football and various jobs. I have a stellar reputation with my teachers, coaches, teammates and all those for and with whom I have worked.
