Added features and testing to the open source Shaka Packager project to ensure conformance toDASH-IF Guidelines, and worked with a large codebase written in C++. Shaka Packager takes in mp4and webm files, and outputs an mpd file with corresponding mp4 files that media files can be sharedfor on demand and live services using DASH or HLS file sharing formats.

Worked on a Javascript-based interface called Concodeit. Concodeit’s purpose is for people withlimited programming experience to understand concurrency and program simple robotics tasks withthe interface. In this project, I improved the Javascript application, played a major role in collectingand analyzing data from participants, and was a joint author in publishing a paper on the results.

As a bioinformatics intern at the Institute for Systems Biology, I worked on analyzing genetic data relating to the disease erythropoiesis using techniques such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), TSNE, and using packages available in the R programming languages that analyze differential gene expression, while making use of the Linux Bash Command Line.
