As executive vice president for the Northeast Region, serves as the senior-most staff executive, driving development and implementation of the Society’s mission and income strategies across the Northeastern United States. By engaging corporate executives, high-level donors, and leadership volunteers from Maine to Maryland, leads the team in mobilizing a mighty force to create neighborhoods and communities free from suffering caused by cancer. The team in the Northeast Region implements the largest Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® events in the nation, including the most successful Real Men Wear Pink campaign. In 2020, led the Northeast Region through significant organizational transition and quickly evolved large in-person fundraisers to virtual platforms while maximizing return on investment. Has more than 20 years of experience in developing proven relationships in marketing, fundraising, and corporate partnerships. On a personal level, currently raises funds through Real Men Wear Pink, Coaches vs. Cancer, DetermiNation, and Relay For Life of Hope Lodge NYC.

Vice President of Community Development of the American Cancer Society’s Northeast Region, which serves communities in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.Develops and leads implementation of the regional strategy for community development, including event execution and volunteer engagement to drive revenue growth.Alongside a team of 300 staff and thousands of volunteers, engages local communities in Society special events and activities. Under his leadership, each year the Northeast Region produces 705 Relay For Life® events, engaging more than 208,000 individuals, 23,000 teams, and 18,000 cancer survivors in the world’s largest volunteer fundraiser. The team also engages more than 148,000 individuals in 68 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® events, which raise $24 million annually to fight breast cancer. Also oversees the engagement of leadership volunteers through volunteer Boards, centered around impacting our mission in the largest cities across the Region. Serves on the Region Leadership Team, which comprises the Northeast Region’s senior-most staff.

Leads a team of thirty staff across New York and New Jersey that manages an $18 million income portfolio. This includes the planning and implementation of 25 distinguished events, and the management of over 200 priority accounts headquartered in the Northeast. The focus of work includes income and mission related activities, with activation on a local and national level.Areas of focus include cause marketing, corporate partnerships, employee engagement, and event management.

Led a team of eight in the pursuit of new opportunities for the American Cancer Society's mission and fundraising efforts with Fortune 1000 companies and additional priority accounts. Specific clients include KPMG, Merrill Lynch, Foot Locker, adidas Eyewear, and more. Primary focus included cause-related marketing, health and wellness programs, and employee engagement. This is accomplished through nationwide implementation around signature programs including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Coaches vs. Cancer, and Relay For Life.

Led the fundraising and awareness activities for Coaches vs. Cancer throughout New York and New Jersey. Member of the Coaches vs. Cancer national team tasked with the strategic planning and expansion of the program nationwide. Worked directly with college basketball coaches including Fran Mccaffery (Iowa), Steve Lavin (St. John's), Gene Keady (Purdue), Will Brown (UAlbany), Bobby Cremins (Charleston), Tom Pecora (Fordham), and Mitch Henderson (Princeton).

Responsible for securing corporate sponsorships for various American Cancer Society initiatives that included Coaches vs. Cancer and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
