back when I played video games, ran a couple tournaments, 1500+ students in ontario.

- Developed brand identity with a major focus on consistency and memorability, set precedence by working on professional workflow with apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X.- Grew social media following by over 25% and outreach outside of school Spearheaded the conceptualization and implementation of a live online game show engaging over 300 live viewers, showcasing professional stream overlays and animations to resonate with popular TV trivia shows.- Leveraged experience from pre-pandemic events to raise the bar for in-person events in anticipation of a full resumption of in-person learning, committed to exceeding previous standards.Directed a team of 24 students to successfully organize and execute six major events, alongside various initiatives for over 1600 students, in the first half of the year, focusing on inclusivity and catering to diverse interests and demographics.- Utilized unique insights drawn from pre-pandemic in-person event experience to vitalize Haunt Week through strategic planning and layout construction for the first haunted house event since 2019.Overcame administrative, safety, and budgetary challenges to orchestrate the school’s largest dance, semi-formal, achieving a record-breaking attendance of over 500 participants.- Demonstrated exceptional leadership in rallying an inexperienced team, diligently sourcing necessary services and vendors, and delegating tasks optimally to spotlight each team member’s strengths, ensuring a cohesive event setup for subsequent student councils.

- Identified and responded to the urgent need for improved communication among students, the student council, and the administration during the COVID-19 pandemic, proposing the creation of a school mobile app.- Collaboratively undertook the development of "pethsApp" alongside two other council members, taking charge as the design lead leveraging the experience gained from previously revamping the student council's brand identity.Pioneered the app's user experience and visual aesthetics, navigating the new terrain of functional design, distinct from conventional aesthetic-focused design, with a dedication to intuitive and user-friendly navigation.Facilitated effective communication between the development and design teams, successfully bridging distinct professional languages and thinking styles through a comprehensive understanding of both fields.- Implemented innovative features in "pethsApp," including a news-style feed for school updates and a built-in COVID-19 self-screening tool in compliance with pandemic regulations, enabling students to adhere to safety measures conveniently.- Achieved substantial user engagement with 1200 daily users and reached a peak ranking of #15 on the Apple App Store Top Charts in the education section, validating the app's utility and popularity among students.
