As Product Owner for the Wirkungstransparenzportal (Impact Transparency Portal) - an in-house development of GLS Bank for the acquisition of ESG data in the lending process - I enable the data acquisition and evaluation around impact & sustainable finance.My tasks include, in particular, ensuring the operation, the content administration and the further development of the Wirkungstransparenzportal as well as the data evaluation & interpretation of the results around impact transparency. I furthermore oversee the indicators & data points for the various stakeholders. Among other things, we determine the supervisory and regulatory relevant ESG data in the lending process, measure and report on impact and publish loans granted to corporate clients.For this purpose, I am in permanent exchange with the relevant departments in order to develop both the content and the process continuously. I am the contact person for content-related, technical and process-related questions during data acquisition.For impact transparency, we record impact indicators in our six sectors Renewable Energies, Food (Organic Agriculture, Processing & Trade), Sustainable Economy (Production, Trade & Services), Housing, Education & Culture and Social & Health. The impact indicators focus thematically on climate, biodiversity, circular economy, supply chains & fair partnerships and social participation.I analyse the data quantitatively and help to interpret the results. Among other things, I coordinate the deep dives for impact in our sustainability report and also write texts myself.As part of Sustainable Finance, we determine the greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 - 3) of our corporate clients and record ESG risks.
