Anthony Marquez has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Mr. Marquez has worked with operating companies as well as engineering consultants. He is currently the founder and CEO of Launch Consulting, a business designed to help start up energy companies. Previously he has held positions ranging from engineering and construction through project management and executive leadership.Utilizing his diverse experience and keen innovation, Mr. Marquez has formed many effective teams such as the highly successful Upstream Infrastructure group at CH2M HILL. This was an initiative he pioneered to provide project management, engineering and design services to oil and gas operators, with a focus on upstream and unconventional shale plays. He was able to secure lucrative projects and contracts that continue to this day.He has been involved in not only established companies but has worked with many start-ups. Through implementation of processes, procedures, business acumen and technical expertise he was able to make these organization sustainable and efficient thus increasing their market value. These companies include the Agricultural Gas Company where he served as Chief Gas Engineer, PNM’s Alternative Fuels division where he served as Operations Manager and recently Energy Water Services, where he was the company’s Chief Operating Officer. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from New Mexico State University.
