In my current position, I manage the Procurement List Management (PLM) Team and Procurement List Information System (PLIMS) for a central nonprofit agency (CNA) overseeing over 400 nonprofits and employing over 85k staff nationwide. This involves maintaining compliance with federal regulations pertaining to AbilityOne, a $3B federal procurement program in which SourceAmerica operates that provides employment to those with significant disabilities, including service-disabled veterans. I regularly liaise between the Operations Team, U.S. AbilityOne Commission, and stakeholders, and I report directly to the Assistant Vice President. My role involves maintaining PLIMS quality and data integrity tools and policies, as well as tracking, analyzing, and reporting on transactions. I frequently provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership on key initiatives, and consistently exceed KPIs established within the U.S. AbilityOne Commissions oversight contract and the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). Additionally, I have successfully streamlined core processes and procedures, and trained staff on best practices to drive efficiency and quality throughout the procurement life-cycle. Through these contributions, I have improved the PLIMS accuracy rate from 68% in 2016 to 96% in 2019.

Previously, I supervised the Data Management Team, where I worked with Contract Analysts and Accounts Receivable staff to identify, research, and reconcile variances between contracts, delivery orders, and invoices for CNA fee collection. I also worked with CNAs to discuss contracts and invoices pertaining to the NPA Education Program. My role here included producing annual budget projections and sales forecasts for executive-level strategic planning, overseeing staff assignments for the greatest efficiency, and maintaining and streamlining departmental processes and procedures to drive accuracy and compliance. Most notably, I reduced outstanding unreconcilable invoices with AbilityOne by 75% or from $140M to $31M.

This involved maintaining information accuracy and availability in the company’s centralized database for CNA agency fee collection and contract administration and managing staff allocation and training to optimize productivity. In only one year, I successfully designed and launched the Nonprofit Affiliates Education Program to reduce processing times for orders and invoices with nonprofit agency partners, as well as expedite contract reviews and discrepancy resolution.
