Responsibilities include:- Writing new business (Individual and Group Policies) both on and off the NYS Exchange- Medicare, both for individuals and businesses- Providing on-going support to existing business, large and small- Understanding of health care laws and carrier underwriting requirements- Not only understand health care, but also ancillary products and how they can add value to a comprehensive employee benefits package- Ability to multi-task and stay very organized in a very fast-paced environmentHealth Care is always changing, and it is one of the largest expenses a business or individual may have. Therefore having a dedicated company and support team is of utmost importance. It can not only save a business money, but also enhance the employer-employee relationship. As someone who worked inside the branches, one of my main responsibilities was to always present myself and the bank the in the best possible way by following established policies and procedures while focusing on providing the best customer service. Everyday I would meet face-to-face with existing and prospective clients, educating them on the products and services available, while identifying and understanding each individuals specific needs.My responsiblities also included:- Calling prospective clients- Cross-Selling to existing clients - Understanding how products work to the clients advantage, and identifying client needs- Referring business to colleagues - At times, had to work behind the teller line and was responsible for understanding the various branch positions as to be flexible and versatile
