About Anthony Alphonso
Currently I am working as the Fashion Program Coordinator for Raffles University in Mumbai. Mumbai is my second posting with this Singapore-based institution after successful performance at my first posting in Shanghai, China. My responsibilities, in addition to setting the vision and corresponding curriculum for the Fashion Department (design and merchandising), include teaching design subjects for students ranging from foundation level to degree level. My technical skills and creative vision were influenced by the training I received in earning my Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from the Lasalle–SIA College of the Arts in Singapore. Other experience includes participation in specialist exhibitions, costume design for professional theater groups and mentoring young designers to achieve their goals. You will find that my other qualifications and experience have provided me with the skills to work efficiently in a professional environment. Effective communication with students, colleagues and potential university program corporate sponsors is a skill that I will bring with me to your organization. I have good interpersonal and communication skills.

Both plays are set in Japan and uncover the dark side of human nature. Design inspiration came from traditional Japanese costumes, but made use of differently textured fabrics.
