I’m a senior energy and climate analyst at ERG, and lead my companies green power market analysis and consulting services. I advise clients on strategies and policy standards that can most effectively expand the green power market and accelerate the deployment of renewable energy generation facilities. I’ve worked with U.S. EPA to develop nationally accepted green power market standards, such as vintage requirements for renewable energy certificates (RECs) and online dates for “new” renewable energy generators. For more than a decade, I have consulted with corporations and other large organizations on renewable energy procurement strategies, ranging from portfolio-wide REC purchases to project-specific power purchase agreements. I regularly speak on renewable energy topics and market trends at conferences and on webinars. For over a decade, my team and I have provided broad mission and strategy support to the U.S. EPA’s Green Power Partnership, a national voluntary renewable electricity purchasing program. Under the tenure of ERG’s contract support, the Green Power Partnership has grown over ten-fold and accounts for the majority of all green power used in the United States.
