Contributed to site design and drafted site plans for land development projects inclusive of access, landscaping, grading, utilities, and drainage. Assessed site suitability for development of renewable energy projects. Assisted in preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and performed drainage analysis with HydroCAD to assess development impacts on stormwater runoff. Coordinate with local, county, and state agencies to advance projects from conceptual phases and make any necessary changes to plan sets to be compliant with relevant ordinances and laws in regards to zoning specifications, water service, sanitary service, stormwater, and erosion and sediment controls. Prepared documentation including permit applications for entitlement and construction phases of land development projects. Performed SWPPP inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with NYSDEC stormwater permit and adherence to site design along with providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Monitor and assess drinking water quality at several points in the water treatment process through programmable logic controllers and environmental laboratory tests for physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Utilize data from laboratory testing and SCADA to optimize chemical dosing for water treatment. Control water distribution throughout the municipality through pumping stations to meet resident demand. Perform maintenance related to operations of the water treatment plant.
