But football is much more than just kicking a ball about. It’s being part of a team, communication, friendship, compromises. I completed 4 years in the British Army as an infantry soldier between November 2010 - October 2014.My 4 years took me across the length and breadth of the UK, to places such as Garelochhead, Scotland, Otterburn near Newcastle, the Brecon Beacons in Wales and down to Thetford in Norfolk. In addition to this, I have visited numerous place globally too such as Canada, Afghanistan, the Somme to name just a few.I am proud to have served my country in Afghanistan for 7 months on Herrick 17, which was from October 2012 - April 2013.It was during my time in the British Army where I was taught respect, discipline, hard work reaps rewards and above all to never give up. I have taken these four work ethics with me from my time in the British Army and I continue to use these on a daily basis whilst running my own logistics company.

I took my first full time job at the leading Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust as a service desk analyst. I willingly accepted the job and approached it with gusto and enthusiasm, albeit having no previous experience.Providing first hand IT support to over 5,000 internal and external customers was no mean feat however this taught me to work thoroughly, fast and to a high standard. At times I was working on my own and also within a small team of 4-5 colleagues.With each different phone call came a different request / job. This taught me that each customer is different and may have their own individual requirements and therefore I needed to be accommodating to their needs. This then resulted in me and my team providing excellent customer service each and every time.I was proud to have worked in such a fast paced health environment and to have been an employee of the fantastic NHS
