I started my career when I was 17 and I joined the army. At this time, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I enlisted as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. After going to training, I realized that I love cars and love working on and repairing vehicles. I then when to Automotive Technology school at Vatterott College. While I attended, I got a job working at the Sears Auto Center. I advanced quickly from lube tech to advanced tech. After I graduated, I stayed at the Auto Center for a year, then decided to move on. I became a Machine Operator at CNC Machine Products and have since received a forklift license and training in machine repair. I would like to get into a maintenance position in a factory or become an auto tech again.
