Assigned to General Motors in Spring Hill, TN as a Robot Programmer. Worked in body shop for both Underbody and Hood/Liftgate lines. Part of a team to set-up, program, troubleshoot and support production for the launch of 2 new vehicles. Robot Program Process included Spot Welding, Material Handling, Dispensing, Stud Welding, Roller Hemming, and Laser Braze applications.Teamed up with Digital Manufacturing Solutions out of Auburn Hills, MI who is a Value Added Reseller(VAR) of Dassault Systemes Software Packages. My focus is in Sales and to contact individuals in the Automotive, Oil and Gas and Aerospace industries and confirm their need for CAD/Simulation Packages.In addition to software, we also offer industries Engineering Services such as Mechanical Design, Simulation, Ergonomics, Controls, Automation and Robotics.Assigned to Comau USA as a Robot Program Leader. I spent 3 months in Mexico City, Mx and 3 Months in Hopkinsville, Ky. I was the leader of a team that installed and programmed 172 Fanuc Robots as part of an Automation line that utilized Mig Welding, Material Handling and Vision Systems to assemble a pick-up frame for Metalsa USA and the final customer being General Motors. I was responsible for being the liaison to the customer to adhere to their schedule and that production startup met the target date. Participated in daily meetings with the plant and other disciplines to ensure project direction.

Assigned to Aera Energy based in Bakersfield, CA I utilized my knowledge of 4D Modeling to help eliminate safety risk and increase process efficiency as part of the construction phase of a water treatment facility.Performed reach studies based on work envelopes to assist in picking the correct size equipment for construction.Participated in weekly meetings while collaborating with many different disciplines as to confirm project direction and status.Trained in SPS (Strategic Project Solutions) a Production Management tool that increases the predictability of project outcomes while increasing operating efficiencies and profitability.

Assigned to Toyota Motor Manufacturing based in Erlanger Kentucky I continued to bring my design and robotics experience to Toyota working primarily in the paint group.Trained on the fundamentals of TPS (Toyota Production System) and the adaptability of this system to increase productivity and quality.Utilizing the principles of TEBA (Toyota Ergonomic Burden Assessment) was able to improve working conditions of team members in various process areas within the plant.Designed paint jigs, dollies and hangers critical to the production process.Managed the contractor build of jigs, dollies and hangers for the production environment.Robot programming lead for various systems at Kuka utilizing Kuka, ABB and Fanuc robots. Responsibilities include programming and debug. Ensured that system shipment met the target date.Performed processing and final design simulation studies for the GM Hummer project. Utilizing my design and robot programming experience, I was able to reduce the amount of automation required for production.Responsible for being a working mechanical design lead on various projects including BIW and plastic injection molding. Reduced cost in design by implementing design check lists. Worked with the ISO group to achieve ISO certification for the company.Robot programming lead for Saturn at the Delaware plant utilizing Fanuc robots. Performed robot programming and debug for their new model startup.
