Responsible for building USC’s brand, strategic collaborations, recruitment and study abroad efforts globally, while ensuring USC’s international operations are protected from a financial, brand, intellectual property and US regulatory compliance perspective. Oversee the university's network of regional offices located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Taipei, Mexico City, Seoul and Sao Paulo.Founding dean of the USC Bovard College, which offers innovative programs to thousands of students during key academic and career transitions. These include online master's programs in high demand fields, specialized programs for international students and support programs for high achieving, low income students. Launched and operate USC Online, which markets and operates online programs across the university.USC is a private, entrepreneurial university ranked in the top 20 (WSJ/Times Higher Ed) and a leader in global and online education.

Led Kaplan's global language, test prep and university preparation division, with over 1,700 employees and serving more than 50,000 students each year. Built the division from $11M to over $175M in revenue and $22M in operating income through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. Responsible for all activities of the business, which included 44 company owned schools and 14 recruitment offices across 20 countries. During the end of this period, I led Kaplan Inc.'s acquisition efforts in Latin America as well as the restructuring of Kaplan Test Prep's graduate field organization in the US.

Oversaw Kaplan's Medical businesses in addition to the company's Kaplan's International operations (which included language programs, company owned test prep centers, and a test prep licensee network), with combined revenue of over $100M. Grew the medical business to over $74M in revenue by focusing efforts on the high growth domestic nursing market and the international medical graduate market. At the end of 2006, we acquired a $63M international school chain, and began the process of merging the company with Kaplan's existing international programs to create the new Kaplan International Colleges division.

I was selected to join Ford's executive leadership development program, and held positions as:- Group Brand Manager, Lincoln Mercury- Lincoln Premier Customer Experience Manager (launched program designed to elevate the customer experience as well as cull the ranks of the brand's 1,500 dealers)- Managing Director, Carlink do Brasil, Ltda (founded independent auto buying subsidiary for Ford in Brazil)- South America Truck and SUV Brand Manager- Global Marketing Strategy Specialist

Represented the Port of Miami in the greater Miami community, working with economic development organizations, participating in corporate relocation proposals, trade fairs and representing the Port at Miami-Dade County commissioner constituent meetings. Responsible for business development and client services for region comprising Argentina, Brazil and Chile. Increased Port of Miami trade volume with Brazil and Argentina by 126% and 117%, respectively and the number of steamship lines providing service from four to nine.
