Draw up Job Hazard Analyse (JHA’s) and turn them into Safe Work Practices (SWP’s)Arrange all roster rotations and FIFO ChangesMotivation and Training of Supervisors and Leading Hands.Management and Administration of all personnel in the capacity of performance reviews and promotion of Operators, providing a sense of ownership in their areas and work through support,discipline, counselling, performance issues, sick and leave days and “Blown Shift” Issues.Ensure the Health and Safety of the crew through constant work area inspections and have open communication. Supervision of the crew’s safety and work areas are of utmost importance as Superintendent.Encouragement of operators to instil exceptional site Housekeeping procedures. Development and Implementation of Work place Health and Safety procedures .Preparation of all OH&S reports.Daily Supervision and Inspection of our fleet to keep our equipment in excellent working condition at all times.Liaise with Rio Tinto Management to maintain their utmost satisfaction in keeping the contract secure and permanent. Ensure that any issue with Crew, HR or Contractual Issues are dealt with immediately and if needed rectified to maintain a productive workplace.The organisation of each shift consisting of machine allocation, Job allocation, Inspection of work areas and directing safety audit and inspections. Assessment of any risks that may develop as delays to production and remedying them., Hold and present regular Toolbox meetings.Assessment of the work site functionality and utilising recourses already in place, In order to keep the site working smoothly and efficiently.All Administration, emails, reports, phone communication between myself, HR, Rio Tinto, Crew members and contractors.
