Service Desk Analyst on a contract with Siemens who were an outsource supplier of IT Support Services to the National Assembly for Wales. I was based on-site at the Cardiff Cathay's Park site. The role involved answering calls from customers and trying to resolve issues over the phone or despatching engineers to visit customers to sites across Wales

This role was a contract working for Siemens who were responsible for providing and installing the computerised MOT testing system to VOSA. As a field service engineer I went on-site to check that MOT testing stations had fulfilled the criteria for their system to be installed. I would then install, configure and test the hardware. Based at my home in Cardiff, I completed installs across south Wales, mid Wales and Bristol areas. When required I would also attend sites to troubleshoot, repair or replace existing hardware.
