I am the Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of AIG UK. I lead the Executive Committee of AIG UK, working closely with the Board and senior management team to formulate AIG’s profitable growth strategies for the UK and ensure that AIG has the structure, resources, talent, and regulatory governance to execute these strategies successfully. I joined AIG in 1995 as Financial Institutions Underwriter for the UK and Ireland. In July 2004, I became Chief Underwriting Officer for Financial Lines UK and Ireland, before being appointed Financial Lines Manager UK and Ireland in February 2006. In 2008 I went on to serve as Head of AIG’s International Financial Lines portfolio. In July 2011 I became Head of Distribution for Europe, before taking on the role of Managing Director of Field Operations across the EMEA region in January 2012. In November 2015, I was appointed CEO of AIG’s European entity, before the company was divided in order to continue to best serve its clients post-Brexit and I was appointed CEO of AIG UK in December 2018. I am a member of the Board of Directors of British American Business (BAB), The Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the London Market Group (LMG).
