• Plan, organise, resource and ensure materials are ordered for authorised schemes.• Supervise construction and installation work and carry out occupational safety and work activity surveillance to pre-planned schemes.• Lead team and safety briefs on a regular basis and produce notes of such meetings.• Ensure work is carried out to specification and safety plans and all activities subjection risk assessment.• Produce Task Briefs, work completion records and documentation and distribute according to management systems requirements.• Monitor staff performance, sickness and timekeeping to meet the requirements of Carillion Rail and to take action in line with the Companies Policy and Procedures.• Provide on call cover out of hours and participate in weekend work conference calls as required.
