I moved to New York in October 2014 to do an internship with the Elmira Jackals. When I first moved up here I came as an Audio Specialist but throughout the season, I got a chance to really broaden my skill range. I got the opportunity to work with cameras, fill out league forms, go to community events, and do so many other little jobs and skills along the way. It wasn't long before I realized I really enjoyed working with an organization that allowed me to interact with so many community members at once. I was hired on at the beginning of April to handle Game-Day Ops and also Corporate Sales. Corporate sales are geared toward not selling us but to help employers and businesses giveback to their employees and reward them in unique ways for all of their hard work. I have learned many things to get me to this point in the past year but know that to succeed, the learning has only just begun. Through my journey of professional growth, I have gone from an intern with the Elmira Jackals to Director of Game Operations to Vice President of Ticket Sales of the Wichita Thunder. My goal is to make sure every person that walks through the doors of our arena gets 1st class customer service and leaves with memories for a lifetime.
