Service Line Manager for Community CVD and COPD services.Responsible for direct communication with Knowsley commissioners to ensure all aspects of the services / Key Performance indicators are delivered.Leading a multi disciplinary team across the borough of Knowlsey.Ensure all services are delivered within budget delivering high quality effective care.

Responsibilities:•Manage the operational and organisational objectives for the department in line with trusts requirements.•Line manage a wide range of qualified and non qualified personnel•Involved in Tender applications for new services/service improvements•Responsible for personal development reviews (PDR’s) for the department•Ensure departments Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are maintained in line with Trusts objectives•Responsible for purchasing of diagnostic equipment, maintenance and consumables to meet service needs•Responsible for recruitment of personnel to ensure department has correct skill mix to support diagnostic services within the department.

•Facilitate all areas of training for the department•Deliver training of varying complexities both formally and informally to students, physiologists, managers and doctors•Developed training and assessment manuals within areas of technical cardiology•Responsible for delivering 2 day courses to managers/trainers in improving staff performance through the role of coaching•Personal mentor to 5 student clinical physiologists at present•Responsible for personal development reviews (PDR’s) for student clinical physiologists.•Internal assessor for the BSc Clinical Physiology Degree•Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (SCST) examiner and also member of the education committee for SCST involving decisions for improving the SCST/BSc training and examining processes.•Member of the CTC Trust’s Learning and Development (L&D) steering group committee•In addition to the above responsibilities I also perform my previous roles and responsibilities.

•Perform/report routine and urgent Echocardiography and Transoesophageal Echocardiography investigations•Program and measure single chamber/bi-ventricular defibrillator, pacemaker and laser lead extractions during implantation. •Routine checking and maintaining of implantable pacemaker/defibrillators during follow up clinic. Device troubleshooting also undertaken when appropriate.•Diagnostic/interventional haemodynamic monitoring during catheter laboratory procedures•Physiologist led and doctor led exercise tolerance testing •Physiologist led and doctor led tilt table testing•Analysing and reporting of ambulatory ECG and BP analysis•Immediate Life Support (ILS) accredited
