    For my senior year university research project, I coded an Arduino with a Bosch BNO055 IMU (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer) to control a 3D printed rocket motor gimbal (courtesy of BPS Space). I explored the advantages of using quaternions instead of Euler angles in a PID-based control system. I also compared and honed in on ideal Kp, Ki, and Kd values for the PID controller. Coding was done in C++.
