I spent two summers and two winter breaks using the Sage 300 software to input daily journal entries and month end accruals. I inspected weekly reports to classify new fixed assets and upload them into our system of record. Using tools like Prophix, Mircrosoft Excel and Mirus, I organized, manipulated, analyzed data to draw conclusions about complex questions I was presented. During the monthly close process, I was given responsibilities that included accounting for inventory, reconciling balance sheet accounts and handling miscellaneous accruals. I also assisted the FP&A IPO team by conducting market research and completing data analysis projects.

Oversaw the orientation process of new employees. I organized and managed the training schedule of over 120 current employees and guided them through the process of cross-training in new areas. I was in charge of making sure all training followed proper procedures and guidelines dictated by the company.
