As an Assistant Stage Manager, my responsibilities included coordinating a cast of professional actors and a chorus of youth students, making extensive notes throughout the rehearsal period and undertaking scene changes. Working alongside and supporting other departments was a key role in this position. This included liaising with the sound and lighting department, prop and costume maintenance and safe storage, ensuring the safety of the cast and chorus backstage, continuous set repairs throughout the run and keeping the theatre space tidy and well maintained.

As a Follow Spot Operator, I was required to operate one of two follow spot lighting units in tandem with my colleague, this involved a full rehearsal schedule, multiple shows a day and regular checks and maintenance of the equipment.
