My responsibilities include teaching students to use drafting software which includes: AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and Solidworks. My class is a part of the student organization SkillsUSA where students can compete in skill contests such as Architectural Drafting and Technical Drafting. Students can also compete in leadership contests such as prepared speech or quiz bowl.I am also on the literacy and numeracy committee which meets to improve literacy and numeracy strategies for each class on campus.

While at ICF I was part of a team that created As-Built plans for the facilities on Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. This required us to go to buildings on base and create a set of floor plans based on the current layout. We did this by measuring all of the walls, columns, equipment, furniture, and utility lines. For each building, we would have a team leader. The team leader was responsible for coming up with a timeline of completion for the building, as well as assigning duties to the other team members. I was team leader on several buildings.
