My core belief is that one of greatest things that one can do is to build something. Whether it is a well-used building, a beautiful work of art, or a novel idea, the act of creation is my ideal way to leave a beneficial impact on the world. This ideal has stuck with me and fuels my career ambitions.I grew up in communities and institutions that fostered creative efforts from their residents. After taking up drawing at early age, my work has evolved into full illustrations, comic books, and hand-drawn animations. By the time I had finished high school, I had a breadth of visual puzzles in the student yearbook and 9 minute animated film under my belt!If my passion for art was strong, then my love of math and science. Seeing the inner workings of machines, formulas and even the universe has peaked my interest, because if I could understand that, then I could do anything! I enrolled at the University of Denver as a Mechanical Engineer and used the opportunity to build in many projects, including a mini hovercraft powered by a computer fan, a rover that could drive through tight turns and steep stairways, and a recycling robot that used compressed air to quickly and accurately remove aluminum cans from a quality control line. While learning the tools of the engineering trade, I continued my artistic pursuit, learning the basics of 3D models and environments and writing 3 comic strips a week for the student newspaper.Now that I have graduated with a Bachelor's and a minor, I wish to continue building in any way I can for engineers and artists alike. I have an eye for detail, a proactive spirit, and a clear focus when it comes to getting the most important tasks done.
