With nearly 4 years of experience as a Buyer and Project Manager at Accupac LLC, a leading liquid contract manufacturer in the beauty and oral care industry, I have developed a deep understanding of supply chain and operations. As a project manager, I facilitate cross-functional team meetings to establish and maintain timelines, produce quality products, and optimize production output. Through forecasting and monthly demand planning, I ensure that my company can meet the needs of customers and quickly identify any potential roadblocks that would inhibit success. On the internal side of the business, I’m spearheading special projects focused on optimizing inventory, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency for both Accupac and its clients.During my time as a Buyer, I gained experience interpreting material requirements planning (MRP) reports, placing and tracking purchase orders (POs), negotiating pricing and terms, identifying underperforming vendors and advising on suitable replacements. While pursuing my Bachelors in Environmental Science and competing as a varsity Division I athlete, I worked for UVA’s Office for Sustainability, in partnership with UVA Varsity Athletics, to make the athletic program more environmentally sustainable. I dedicated my first year as an intern to understanding the structure and functionalities of both departments to identify opportunities for synergy and potential cost savings while also building new relationships. During my last year, as a Graduate Assistant, I led the planning and coordination of sustainability events while also being the face for sustainability in UVA Athletics.
