I'm part of the railways finest S&T works delivery team around. Where I am involved with improving the railway's signalling where equipment needs to be renewed and where others need to be improved. We do all aspects of signalling from wiring, points, signals and tracks etc.

East London Line

My current position is signal technician, on the ELL (East London Line)with Carillion where I fault maintain and renewal signalling equipment.

I'm a MOD 3BL/4 under mentorship at the moment with plans to get through the mentorship as soon as I can and get the relevant IRSE.As a MOD 3c I'm make sure that everything that is installed is done so as per the diagrams and if it is not I flag it up. The duties of a MOD 5 are to be an extra pair of hand to a more senior tester.I've recently got coss (p) but that soon to be lifted aswell.

While an apprentice I served my apprenticeship at Hither Green and London bridge where there are lot of different equipment and it was such a great learning curve especially for fault finding because London bridge is definitely one of the top busiest areas for trains in the world, so when fault finding I learnt common faults that happen on different equipment and different fault finding techniques. Another thing is that with all the work going on around I been involved in different instillation work from signals to tracks to points.
