- Develop backroom operations procedures and training for new in-house operations such as general ledger reconciliations, electronic funds transfers (EFT) processing and risk management, wire transfers, and check processing- Work extensively with internal and external auditors to ensure new procedures are compliant with all applicable regulations- Provide guidance internally to frontline staff and compliance department on regulatory issues and inquiries, with a focus on ACH, Check Processing, and Wire transfers - Implementing the auto reconciliation and positive pay functions for internal official check accounts including cashiers checks, money orders, and expense checks. Review and reconcile these accounts daily- Process accounts payable and reconcile checks to invoices- Assist with a wide variety of miscellaneous support issues for customers, frontline staff, and upper management including: IT support, research, reporting and queries, and staff training- Learned and applied Visual Basic for Applications to streamline depository and reporting functions, improving accuracy and reducing manual input for daily and monthly activities
