In this role I have organised the warehouse in more efficient and easy to work environment ensuring the stock system reflects the inventory SOH. I have also implemented and maintained cycle stocktakes to ensure that the stock levels are managed to needs of the business. I also pick and pack orders for dispatch and also receive stock in the system allocating locations for ease of warehouse operations.

In this role I am based in Long Life/Replenishment which involves load receiving, load separation, working stock to shelf, presentation and customer service. I am also skilled to work in every department in the store.

Managing the Replenishment team, organisation of warehouse, receiving stock and merchandising across the long life (grocery), diary and freezer sections in the store. Staff development. Rostering. I also do the role of Duty Manager for the store which involves oversight of all departments and assisting them when required, cash control both on registers and back office, customer service, store presentation and remerchandising when required, staff development.

My role at Aeson Holdings involves all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost effective way. Supervise and provide appropriate training and knowledge to related personnel. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline warehouse staff. Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace. Ensure any dispatching products match with the company's customer service standards. Coordinate with warehouse staff and ensure all the operational of the business side runs smoothly. Ensure batteries are being recharged before dispatch and organising charging schedules for the ones needed. Products forecast requirements. Ensure to send a report on product stocktaking every week from the warehouse operator, ensure the quantity is correct. Work with sales team to plan. Ensure all dispatched batteries are well checked and packed properly. Ensure all correct checklist documents are prepared in advance. Talk to our charging contractor to ensure all necessary batteries are recharged up to date. Ensure warehouse operator has done the appropriate procedure when performing loading and unloading activities. Liase with warehouse operator to ensure the operational side of the warehouse is improving and running smoothly and provide guidance when required.

At Cabinet Timbers my main role is in the warehouse which constitutes stock receiving, warehouse management, order picking and customer service. I also do deliveries to customers both commercial and residential.

Duties have included labouring on construction sites, warehouse/forklift work, landscaping, truck driving/deliveries.

Working in Victoria Police is a constant time critical environment. Skills that I have learnt while in working in Victoria Police have been to establish what is happening in a situation in an urgent manner, followed by a course of action to assist that situation or take action. I have shown the ability to prioritise and multitask as the need arises. One of my strengths is to retain a level head and stay calm in stressful situations. One of the necessary skills I have for maintaining the workload in Victoria Police is having a sound knowledge with the windows system for all the varying reports. My typing skills have improved whilst working in Victoria Police which has assisted me with reports and files being submitted by due dates. As an operational member of Victoria Police I have very good communications skills.

While working at Bunnings I was chosen to participate in a Diploma of Management which was conducted through the Australian Institute of Management. This was because of my work ethic and organisation skills. I was seen as a future leader of the business. I completed the Diploma of Management and was selected in a role for the region with a team to assist the stores in the region with merchandising and presentation. This role shows leadership and teamwork to achieve a common goal.

While Working at Dan Murphy’s my primary role was Stock Management. I was in this role due to my work ethic and organisational skills and my previous work history being a bottle shop manager in a large format store. I moved into a project role where I was responsible for setting up new stores which involved recruitment and training of new staff, stock management for the initial store opening and liaising with Head Office planning teams in relation to the layouts and product positioning.
