My mother was a passionate florist who taught me the importance of color, balance, and to think outside the box. My father was a hardworking construction professional who taught me the value of not only how to build a box accurately, but how to take it apart again. I guess you could say that I am genetically drawn to both design and construction, ….and the rest is history. I consider myself a creative individual with a strong fine arts background but I’m also an experienced carpenter. As a VDC Coordinator I find what I do very gratifying and rewarding by helping others visualize the end goal. Being able to collaborate with design teams and construction professionals using virtual design software to transform a digital structure into reality is incredibly fulfilling unlike any other profession. At the end of the day I consider myself a fortunate individual to contribute to this industry as I continue to learn and grow as a design professional. Outside of work I enjoy using my hands as a craftsman working on my own projects. Family is also important to me so being able to spend time with my wife, parents and siblings and my new puppy, Timber. Aside from working hard and staying active, my personal goal is to save where I can to someday purchase my first home and apply my knowledge of design and building to an old fixer upper.
