From the simultaneous engineering stage, through prototype builds to full automation and handover of the vehicle to production. Roles include specifying joining technologies suitable for the needs of the vehicle, developing new joining technologies, developing test plans for new materials. The role was cross functional, working with teams from product development (engineers and management), CAE to confirm strength requirements were met, working with multiple AME Process Engineers, and the current manufacturing engineering team, through to project managing multiple vendors, through the SE to production stages, to develop a robust vehicle, that met the criteria for strength durability and corrosion.
