After High School I started as a junior accountant for BBC Painting Pty Ltd for two and half years as a casual worker, before accepting an opportunity at EventsAIR to become a Software Support Consultant. In my time as a software Support Consultant, I have focused on expanding my understand of various programming languages to both increase my confidence and understanding, as way to better my experience and the experience of the people I would be interacting with.During the pandemic when things were looking uncertain in our line of work, my software company took a giant chance in a new direction. We've provided a desperate service to our clients so they could host their own events in the virtual space using external web clients like Zoom, Goto and Twilio. This meant adapting to new technology and systems foreign to everyone, and it was a great opportunity to get ahead as everyone will be starting from a similar playing field. I capitalised on this opportunity by understanding the ins and outs of everything I could, which lead me to my next position as a Project Manager where I would be managing the events of multiple clients simultaneously. I would be managing and organising their event's data within the software, and training them in the software's capabilities and how to take advantage of what we provided for their event.After my 3rd Year, an opening in the Dev Department as a QA Engineer had been announced, and after an interview with the Head of QA and the Director of Software Development, I started my new position as a QA Engineer.
