I currently work as an independent broker in the Life Insurance industry which has been such an amazing experience so far! I love helping people and spending time building relationships. Being the incredibly competitive person I am, surrounding myself around others who have a very similar work ethic has been very encouraging and motivating for me as I work towards my goals. This has been such a blessing for me as I enter my new journey in the world of sales!I also teach part time as an adjunct professor at St. Louis University for their cannabis science and operations department which keeps me associated with my second passion, cannabis! Being able to help other students who are looking to pursue the industry is another fulfillment I enjoy so much!I completed my education at Michigan State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture. While attending university, I was also working full-time, managing 4 facilities across the state. This was such a unique and wonderful experience for my career. It taught me to have an entrepreneurial mindset and allowed me to apply what I was learning through my education directly to my career. This was truly such a blessing and is something that forced me to be the best version of myself with regards to being a leader and a business ownerI am very committed, loyal and extremely passionate about whatever I pursue. I take calculated approaches to everything and use analytics and data to help guide my decisions. I have experience being a team leader, managing people who have unique skills, creating KPIs, training, financial analysis (P/L), budgeting and being a positive influence to those around me. I have quite an extensive network of resources that have amassed over the years and my goal is to help as many people as I can reach.Culture in the workplace is extremely important. Sometimes things can be frustrating, especially when they don’t go to plan, however, I welcome all challenges and failures, they are the best teacher. One must fail numerous times before they can find success. I look at failure as a positive occurrence and if one can remain positive and persistent it will always lead to success. I do not back down from challenges and work towards finding solutions by doing whatever it takes. I am willing to commit to finding greatness and am looking to be a part of something big and truly amazing. I focus my efforts on disruption in the industry while also spending time creating new relationships and forming a positive and healthy culture in both my career and personal life.
