I’ve been in the metalworking/machining industry since 1987 holding positions from applications engineer, toolmaker, cnc programmer and operations manager, to outside sales for specialty chemicals in the metalworking industry since 2007. I also taught at Ivy Tech Community College in apprenticeship programs and to train employees that were employed at manufacturing/machining companies in central Indiana. I was elected as the President for the Indiana chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA). Among many things, I put on technical training seminars and help write grants through Indiana Workforce Development for the association membership to send their employees to higher level schooling at no charge to the employee or employer. We also helped with legislation and supported lobbying efforts to help the membership to fight against influences that could negatively impact their future.
