Utilized DFMEA analysis to identify then collaborate on the design and implementation of new diagnostics for the unique needs of an autonomous vehicle. Guided a group of engineers to validate all the diagnostics using six sigma methods to ensure 6-sigma robustness during operation. Used various methods to validate and diagnose issues either internally to the gateway or externally using CAN tools.- Led root cause analysis efforts for swift issue resolution in both the plant and the field. Examples include diagnostics falsely setting leading to manufacturing delays, diagnostics setting in the fleet, and determining if diagnostics are setting true or false failures.- Worked with suppliers to improve the robustness of their BIOS/board level diagnostics to keep from false failing and expanding the WPA window. Created a measurable change in functionality.- Used knowledge of CAN protocols to validate and diagnose communication issues.- Implemented and validated cyber security measures for communication packets such as ARC, LOC, and CRC.- Lead diverse groups of program leaders in addressing complex issues impacting multiple vehicle systems and regulatory compliance achieving the following: - Compliance with NHTSA and CARB vehicle requirements contributing to enhanced vehicle safety and diagnostic performance/reporting. -Diagnosed and resolved false failing diagnostics reducing plant build issues and streamlining the production process. -Addressed diagnostic performance edge cases, significantly reducing false failures or passes and enhancing diagnostic accuracy. -Collated and evaluated data to prepare for CARB certification submittal.

These efforts led to the E-Ray achieving a 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds, making it the quickest Corvette in production. - Developed new feedback torque solutions with chassis controls experts to create first ever hybrid AWD Corvette system.
