I started my work career at a young age helping my father with his plumbing contractor business. As a teenager I worked for U-save food store as a stocker and cashier. In my later teen years I became a pharmacy technician for Eckerd Drug Store. Also, from age 14-17 I was a Tampa Fire Rescue Explorer. The explorer program gave me training and experience in the fire service. I became an emergency first responder and recieved training in firefighting. I worked special events all over the city working first aid stations and responding to emergency medical calls. At 18 I took a job with American Medical Response where I was a first responder and driver. A few years later I attended EMT school and went to work for Americare Ambulance Service as an EMT. After a few years with Americare I went back to school to attend the police academy. While attending the police academy I worked overnight on the medical response team for the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. I also worked part time for Transcare Ambulance Service. I later went on to work in Pinellas County for Sunstar EMS. After an off duty car crash and sustaining lower back injuries I got into the private security industry working high risk contracts for a friends company. I worked special events to include car and truck races, Concerts, Bike patrol, plain clothes details. I've done bodyguard work for many well known entertainers and celebrities. I've accompanied several news camera crews and reporters into protest and riot situations. I was a division manager at one company that provided armed security to several local night clubs in the wake of the Pulse Orlando nightclub shooting. I became an NRA certified firearm instructor and chief range safety officer. Next, I became an NRA refuse to be a victim seminar instructor. Later, I became the head of another protection agency. During my service I was called to an active shooter in a nightclub where I was shot three times attempting to stop the shooters, render aid to the injured and evacuate people from the area. I sustained life threatening injuries and was able to make an almost full recovery. After a few months of recovery I went on to protect employees and cash in a small office. When that contract ended I came to my current employer. At the beginning of 2024 I took the private investigator course. I love learning new skills and I work well under pressure.
