I would manage two teams of 12, the position would require me to stay in contact with multiple contractors, I would work with about 10 to 14 contractors at a time. Once I would make contact, I would discuss the work scope, start date, how many crews they had, and a deadline. After collecting all that information, I was required to make detailed plans to have my team accommodate their needs. The project team would then go out and survey the area where the work was taking place and I would supervise these teams and check the quality of the work and assure that all points of interest were accounted for to protect life and property. Assisted with damage claims and billing to assure that all parties were accountable. Locate utilities for CenterPoint, using survey tools for locate. Mark and identify lines before construction/project begins. Read prints for underground utilities, communicate with contractors and notify of any utilities in conflict with work.
