I worked for one of the largest tile and stone contractors in NY. We were responsible for approximately one third of the high rise work in NY City. I was responsible for importing and manufacture of stone used in the construction of projects such as Union Square, Trump Towers, Battery Park City, Trump Plaza... I brought the stone in from Italy and also opened a marble and granite manufacturing shop to fabricate stone domestically.
