I am a full time fourth year student and Michigan state, I am an Advertising Managment major in the Communications, Arts and Sciences college at Michigan State University and set to graduate this spring. I have worked at Harper’s Restaurant and Brewpub, Club Rush, and PT O’Mailey’s as a DJ and Entertainment manager for my first 2 years at MSU. Since then, I have been doing the same thing at FieldHouse Bar and Restaurant throughout my last two years at MSU. I’m very thankful that I was able to do something I love as a part time job and have tried to grow my own brand during my years at Michigan State. Management and advertisement of my own brand has been an awesome learning experience while at MSU. Starting an Instagram and apparel for the brand; as well as planning, hosting and promoting live events around Michigan. This is why I choose to explore Advertising Managment as my major and plan to start a career in the advertising world. Over my last year at MSU I have also had the pleasure of interning at Jackson Dawson in the Ford Retail Truck team as Project Coordinator. Jackson Dawson has been a wonderful experience where I have gained so much knowledge and experience. Learning about the Advertising and Marketing world has been an eye-opening experience for myself, and working for a company like Ford has been exciting. Furthermore, I served as the Mental Health Chairman and Brother Hood Chairman at Phi Gamma Delta at Michigan state over the course of my college career. I am excited to dive deeper into my advertising career and for what is to follow for me post-graduation from MSU.
