I provide strategic oversight of operational and financial functions by acting as Controller, Corporate Secretary, and head of Human Resources. I provide the leadership, management and vision that is necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative procedures, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the company and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. I have established annual and quarterly planning processes, profit and operations reporting, and regulatory compliance with the CSE and SEC. I also developed and continue to maintain the company's website and social media presence.

As the Localization QA Lab Program Manager, I was responsible for the operational management of lab resources and vendor personnel. Working with Apple Legal, Procurement, and Human Resources I developed the operating polices and procedures for our labs and oversaw seven lab locations worldwide with over 400 onsite vendor personnel from five different localization vendors. Along with day-to-day lab operations, I was responsible for the on-boarding of new Localization vendors, including initiating RFPs, authoring Statements of Work, contract negotiations, and identifying new potential vendors. I worked with the Finance team to maintain 10 different Purchase Orders across five different cost centers. I managed the day-to-day relationships between Apple and the Localization vendors, including performance measurement and reviews and any escalations if necessary. I also oversaw the implementation of tools and technology to streamline the QA process and make any necessary adjustments to our workflows.

As a member of the Apple Online Store publishing group I was responsible for product launch, campaign, and merchandising updates as well as day-to-day publishing activities for the worldwide online stores. I streamlined existing processes and created new ones, making it easier for newer members of the group to take over these responsibilities without having to know the history and nuances of the processes.

My role at AppleCare was managing the AppleCare Localization Screenshot Team. The team is responsible for localizing graphics for a wide variety of projects across the AppleCare support organization. These projects include Apple's online support website, as well as training modules for Apple support agents and wireless carrier agents. In addition to producing graphics, I served as the liaison between the Project Managers and the graphic artists, managing deadlines and procuring equipment.

The Content Control team reviews all metadata of material to be sold in the iTunes store. As part of that team I screened the first music videos and television episodes featured on iTunes. I was responsible for review and maintenance of metadata relating to everything from the artists name and album title to wholesale pricing and legal clearances across 22 countries for new release music and video content. The team works closely with label reps and the legal department to ensure all data is displayed correctly in each of the 22 iTunes stores.

At Localize, I was responsible for the company's accounting including; company payroll, AP accounts ($350k monthly), bank reconciliation, year end tax reporting (1099, W2 and 940), and monthly financials (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow projections). I also supervised the migration to our new parent company's accounting system (Welocalize). In addition to accounting I also assisted the localization teams with DTP, graphic and video editing, and QA.

My initial duties at SpinAway included setting up the company's physical computer network in three locations; this included setting up work stations, installing network equipment, and coordinating the installation of broadband internet access. As a member of the development group I built internal components to add to the company's code library and Rapid Solution Framework process, as well as designed and maintained the company's web presence. The websites I designed and maintained included Spinaway.com and WindhamHealth.com. I was also responsible for the user interface design of the company's internal development tools. My work as a Business Analyst included data and business level analysis, documentation, and authoring of use cases, which became the blueprint for development used by the offshore development teams. This required frequent communication with offshore development teams, considerable organization to manage several projects at once, and a broad knowledge of the development processes, languages, and tools.

While at NetCurrents I led the team that was responsible for the company's online presence. This included design, development, and maintenance of the company's websites, intranet, and online corporate image. This required hand coding of HTML as well as an extensive knowledge of industry standard graphics programs, and included managing the efforts of outside vendors. My role at Montgomery Asset Management was to provide support for the RFP (Request for Proposal) and Marketing Departments. My duties included collecting large amounts of financial data from several departments to write monthly performance and assets under management reports. To help streamline this process I wrote Visual Basic macros to automate most monthly reporting.
