This role had me taking groups of students aged 18 – 20 on three to six month immersive service based travelling trips to developing countries and marginalized ethnic groups. The goals were to use social based interaction paired with physical labor and relationship building to allow the participants to see real world application of team building, working together, and learning to work on teams of people they had just met.
