During my 10+ years of experience working as a stage 3 offshore crane operator I have operated Huisman, NOV, TTS, Hydra Marine, Fisher, Heila, and Kenz Cranes on various TechnipFMC vessels throughout the fleet. I have significant experience with offloading/loading cargo on supply boats, subsea construction, personnel handing, internal and external lifting operations at sea in a harsh offshore environment. Job Duties:Responsible for operating the crane in a safe and diligent manner, and performing tasks or routines which are directed by the Barge/Rigging Supervisor, Offshore Construction Supervisor, or Chief Engineer and follows OneFleet crane operating procedures. Responsible for ensuring that a crane is operated within its safe working limits. Job Scope:-Familiar with emergency duties and relevant company procedures, policies and instructions-Responsible for using the permit to work system, reviewing lift plans, risk assessments and carrying out toolbox talks before starting any task.-Assists with the maintenance of cranes under direction of the Chief Engineer-Performs pre and post start-up checklist and reports any deficiencies to bridge or Chief Engineer -Completes equipment/fabric maintenance of the cranes as directed by the Chief Engineer, which includes external washing down, cleaning routines, surface preparation and painting, lashing and securing in storage areas and greasing routines-Maintain a fire watch as required-Assists the mooring party during mooring/unmooring operations, the rigging of gangways, and the deployment/recovery of pilot ladders as required-Undertakes other mutually agreed tasks as deemed appropriate by the Chief Engineer Show less
