Partner with Pricing Contract Management, Legal, Credit Collections, and Sales in all corporate contract negotiations to ensure all customer proposals can be supported from a Financial Operations perspective: Rate Entry, Billing, Audit, A/R and Collections perspective. Create monthly metric graphs and data analysis on a departmental level using Access and Excel. Creatively negotiate supportable billing solutions and sign off on all customer proposals and contracts, across business segments. Be engaged in Complex Solution proposals and RFP responses from assessment phase through contract signature. Represent and partner with Financial Operations and applicable groups throughout the contract process (presale and post-sale phase), as needed, to ensure contracts can be successfully implemented, billed and revenue is collectable. Analyze trends within the customer base to identify the need for product enhancements, enhanced billing support mechanisms and/or product capability awareness. Document contract capabilities within Verizon Business (legacy MCI, legacy WorldCom, and legacy Verizon) billing systems. Project manage complex/strategic customer contract initiatives from initial account team contact, through PCM/legal approval, the assessment and development of required billing solutions, and the implementation of those solutions within the billing group as required.
