• Responsible for accounting, tax, reporting, operations, regulatory compliance, administration and IT for U.S. equity hedge funds, including two domestic funds, and one offshore fund. • Review and approve on a monthly basis-NAV packages and investor statements, annual financial statements, tax statements and returns.• Oversee all fund end-of-year tax planning; present portfolio manager with ideas so as to efficiently help investors save on taxes.• Responsible for maintaining the compliance program for an SEC registered investment advisor including all day-to-day compliance related activities such as insider trading, personal trading, broker trading, gifts, trade errors, etc.• Responsible for all Regulatory filings: Form ADV, Form PF, 13G, 13F, and other filings.• Responsible for all performance and marketing related calculations that are used in the marketing presentations, monthly profiles, and quarterly letters as well as respond to investor and counter-party requests.• Responsible for the daily workings of the management company including the HR function, vendor management, bookkeeping, record keeping, financial forecasts and tax.

• Established a sound financial and operational infrastructure from inception of the firm that supported AUM growth from $45 million to $2.5 billion.• Perform all CFO, CCO and COO responsibilities (Systems/Infrastructure, Accounting, Legal/ Compliance, and Client Service/Marketing) for three domestic and one offshore U.S. equity hedge funds. • Maintenance of all of the accounting records for the funds, including daily position and cash reconciliations to prime brokers, security pricing, striking of the NAV’s and investor allocations.• Production of annual Financial Statements and coordination and management of the year-end audit process for all of the funds and the management company.• Generation of all information for tax accountants, and review of tax returns for the funds and the management company.• Manage relationships and main contact for auditors, accountants, administrators, onshore and offshore legal counsel, prime brokers, bankers and insurance agents.• Management company budgeting, compensation and benefits planning.• Responsible for all Regulatory filings (13G, 13F, Form 4, Form 3, etc).• Coordination and maintenance of all offering and subscription materials.• Primary contact for investor inquiries for capital account balances, tax estimates, performance and subscription/redemption schedules.• Authorize signatory for all cash accounts, prime broker agreements and other contracts.
