This was a promotion and continuation on from great work in previous positions with the organisation. I was able to settle into the role quickly, utilising my industry and organisation based expertise to apply the requirements of the role with little fuss or onboarding requirements.This role allowed me to utilise industry authority as a subject matter expert, calling on a range of industry knowledge and experience to provide valuable information and leadership to others, driving multiple concurrent outcomes for the organisation, and those under my supervision.The position has required me to provide legislative and professional advice when called upon, to report daily on site matters, create immediate action plans, and manage the processes and procedures in a variety of fast-paced settings. I have utilised my technical knowledge and abilities to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently - including the management of in-house staff and contractors.This position has allowed me to extensively develop my interpersonal skill-set, as I worked closely with relevant departments, staff members, and other industry professionals to ensure shared service oucomes are met.

This role allowed me to move into a leadership position with the organisation, utilising my knowledge and experience from a range of technical roles to effectively lead my colleagues to safe, timely, and quality outcomes.My understanding of technical operations, gained from hands-on and practical experience in the positions I was leading, allowed me to better connect and build rapport with those under my supervision, as I could understand their concerns, restrictions, and what is holding them back from achieving their individual and group-based outcomes.This experience allowed me to onboard quickly, utilising natural leadership skills to bring out the best in those around me.I was able to grow exponentially as a leader in this role, and am grateful for the time spent in this position, as it allowed me to seamlessly transition into my current role, and provided me with a rounded leadership skill-set that will be useful for me in the future, and can be translated into any industry.
