As a medical researcher with over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about improving the flow of medical data for both patients and healthcare professionals across the UK. I currently work as a volunteer for PPIe (Public Participation, Involvement and Engagement), across the UK (primarily Health & Care Research Wales and Health Data Research-UK). I’m also part of the Co-Production for Wales, a network that connects researchers, patients, and the public to co-produce and co-deliver research projects that matter to them.In my role, I apply my skills in laboratory analysis and management, as well as communication and public speaking, to ensure that the research outcomes are relevant, accessible, and impactful. I have upskilled through short courses in co-production and public speaking to enhance my knowledge and practice in these areas. I enjoy working with diverse and enthusiastic teams that share my vision of making research more inclusive, collaborative, and beneficial for everyone.
