Everyone loves stories. As humans, we have an insatiable need to share them, which is why Binumi started. It allows anyone to tell video stories - even with zero video experience. I founded Binumi to help young people make short documentaries, and it grew from there. Now, it’s used worldwide for a multitude of purposes - marketing, brand awareness, education and training, customer relations, personal and family stories.Binumi is one of the fastest-growing video platforms in the world for 3 main reasons: . It’s versatile . It’s incredibly simple to use . It meets our need to tell stories MUSIC & TVIn 2004, my documentary series `Last Voices from Heaven’ aired on National Geographic. It started as a music project - a personal, madly adventurous mission to seek out, record, and preserve the endangered music of the South Pacific. I wanted to build a cultural bridge between tribal islanders and the western world. Partway through, National Geographic got wind of it and commissioned the TV series - filming me on expeditions to record the last people with memories of ancient tribal songs. Altogether, the whole project took 20 years, 35 expeditions, and around 100 locations - often remote jungle locations with people who’d rarely encountered strangers. National Geographic described it as “the most dangerous expedition in the history of indigenous music”. For me, it felt like a privilege. I met tribal elders and musicians, witch doctors and prime ministers - and it took me from jungles and war zones to the boardrooms of New York.The project fulfilled its purpose. Several tracks on the `Last Voices’ albums, released globally by Virgin and Sony, have become part of our own cultural lives.
