I have had the pleasure of working almost 20 Years at ITC concepts, worked on some fantastic Projects and made some great friends.My last 8 years I served my time as a Project Director, leading a team of Surveyors, Contracts Managers and Site managers working on various project types.Before this I was a Commercial Project manager and prior to this I joined ITC as a Senior Surveyor. Most of the projects I have worked on are of a Refurbishment or Fit out , for both the Public and Commercial sector ,the Forms of Contracts being a mixture of Traditional and Design and Build Contracts.A few of the projects I enjoyed working on, were for UCLH hospital, MITU and St Helier Hospital during Covid where there was a critical need for Refurbishing and remodelling Wards for incoming patients.I also worked on a modern Nurse training facility at University of Greenwich. Being a bit of a History Geek , my favourite project was the conversion of a mid 19th Century Manor House called Swaylands in Kent where we converted a beautiful listed Victorian Mansion into 28 luxury apartments. A particular challenge on this project was rerouting and installing services to each plot , sound blocking between each apartment floor ,ceiling and wall ,fire rating the escape routes and providing a very high end product.What was not so rewarding was remeasuring all the different wall and ceiling Sound partition build ups in each location.Prior to ITC I spent 10 years working for Deedscan Ltd.Initially I was Estimating and later on moved into Commercial and Contracts management.Many of the projects were high end quality , bespoke joinery and high end finishes.Some examples were refurbishing the Fulham football Ground Premier lounges as well as the old Turn styles and Craven Cottage Changing rooms , Fitting out British Airways First class lounges at both Heathrow , Zurich and Abu Dhabi.Refurbishing the common areas at Harrods Knightsbridge and Constructing a major extension to London City Airport Lounge.I started my career at Croudace Construction, Joining as a trainee surveyor progressing up to Project Surveyor.I initially worked in the commercial sector working on Construction of Multi story carparks and Office Construction, but due to the 1990 recession Croudace decided to focus their profit gains on building houses on already acquired land.I love to go for country walks with the dog , hit the Gym , Ski ,read and spend quality time with my family.
